Membership

Together, we can improve the lives of children and families in Maryland and DC!

We invite anyone who is interested in advancing efforts to support the mental health needs of young children and their families.  The more diverse our Association is, including families, home visitors, child care providers, social workers, educators, psychologists, psychiatrists, pediatricians, and anyone else serving young children and families, the better we will be able to support our communities in Maryland and D.C.  

We are an affiliate of the World Association of Infant Mental Health and benefit from networking with a diverse, international community that emphasizes the importance of culture in early development.

Joining IMHA-MD/DC is quick and easy! Simply complete the form below and submit a membership fee.

*Please note that membership fees are good for one calendar year. Anyone who registers and pays at any time during 2024 will expire on 12/31/24, and a renewal membership will be due starting 1/1/25. *

Membership Categories and Yearly Fee:

• Professionals - $50 *Individuals will receive the IMHA MD/DC newsletter, invitations to association events and learning opportunities, the opportunity to attend an annual membership gathering,  membership-based discounts on events and programming, and are eligible for Endorsement. 

• Families- $25

• Students- $20 

• Organizations—$500   * Organization Membership is for organizations wishing to support the important work of the IMHA of MD/DC through a yearly donation of $500. Organization Members will receive the IMHA MD/DC newsletter, invitations to association events and learning opportunities, the opportunity to attend an annual membership gathering, and discounts on events and programming for their staff.
